If I live in Minnesota, can I take classes online?

Any of the programs or courses Dunwoody offers online are available to Minnesota residents as well. Please connect with an Admissions Counselor to discuss the best plan that meets your need.

Can I attend either part- or full-time?

Yes! We know that students choose online education because of the flexibility it provides. So whether you can only take one or two classes at a time, or you want to be a full-time student so you can finish quickly, we are here for you.

Do I need to provide my own laptop and software?

No! Dunwoody knows that students need to learn on the right technology and tools to become leaders in their fields. That’s why we provide every student with a Dunwoody-issued laptop and the industry-leading software needed to be a skilled-professional. Laptops will be shipped to enrolled students before the start of the semester.

Will I be required to complete an internship before finishing my degree?

No. Internships are a great way for students to gain professional experience while still in school, and while we are here to help connect students with those opportunities if they are interested in them, internships are not required as part of the online programs.

Will Dunwoody help me find a job after I graduate?

Dunwoody has been a leader in providing life-time career services for its alums. And with Dunwoody’s more than 100-year history of strong industry connections, it is no wonder why 95 percent of our graduates are placed in the field for which they trained.

Will my classes be live sessions with other students present, or will I be learning on my own?

Just like in the real world, there are times when you need to collaborate and interact with others, and other times when you need to work at your own pace, and in your own way. That is why classes are structured to include either individually-paced learning, and synchronous sessions in large and small-group formats. Providing these learning structures allows you to get the flexibility and engagement you need to be successful.

Will there still be hands-on components to the programs?

Yes! The hands-on work is software based. That means, that you will be able to work, design, and experience hands-on, using the state-of-the industry software and tools pre-loaded on your Dunwoody-issued laptop.
