Student Life

The Student Affairs team is here to help you successfully navigate the challenges you may have as you work to find success in the classroom. They also provide support for the extracurricular activities you can get involved in at Dunwoody, including student government and student groups.

The IT Service Desk provides support for your Dunwoody-issued laptop. To request support, stop by Green 70, email support@dunwoody.edu or call 612.381.3434. In addition, Information Technology at Dunwoody works to provide networking, software and hardware solutions for students and faculty to assist in the learning that takes place on campus.

The College’s Veteran & Military Student Center is located in Black 34. Veteran and military students are welcome to stop by for resources, study, and fellowship.

Learning Commons

The John A. Butler Learning Resource Center (Main Library/Black 43) and Design Library (Red 44) can provide you with the print and electronic resources you need to complete research papers and other projects for your classes. They also provide quiet spaces for study as well as collaboration spaces for students working on team projects.

The Ferrara Career Services Center offers employment assistance to all students and alumni. Resources include:

Dunwoody’s Print Services Shop is an on-campus, digital print shop open to all students, employees, alumni, and outside clients. Here students can print personal business cards, portfolio work, and outside projects.

Women's Initiatives Office

The Women’s Initiatives Office is here to help all women on campus. The Office organizes events for women, provides support and resources, and hosts outreach programs for women and girls interested in STEM.

Bookstore

Dunwoody’s Bookstore is a convenient, on-campus one-stop shop where you can rent textbooks, purchase classroom supplies and Dunwoody gear, and grab a quick snack. The Bookstore also sells bus passes and Go-To-College bus passes.

Wenda W. & Cornell L. Moore Multicultural Center

The Multi-Cultural Center programs seek to develop a community in which individuals of diverse backgrounds may come together to thrive in an environment where inclusion is evident. Through supporting GLBT groups, Multi-Cultural Student Union, and broadening multi-cultural awareness, our programs aim to promote the value of diversity and prepare students to be competitive in a global society and changing workforce.

The Multicultural Center is found on the Green Level near the Arts & Sciences offices.

McNamara Center/Cafeteria

The McNamara Center operates as a cafeteria and event space for the College.

Taher Inc., Dunwoody’s food service provider, offers three meals daily, Monday through Thursday, and breafkast and lunch on Fridays.

Snack items and beverages are also available from nearby vending machines.
