Design Camp

Thumbnail of Design Camp PosterDesign Camp is an exciting pre-college program created to introduce high school students to the dynamic world of design. This week-long program offers an immersive hands-on project based experience led by Dunwoody College faculty from the School of Design. Participants will explore ideas from architecture, interior design, and graphic design and product design work using industry tools and techniques. Beyond exploring our labs and makers spaces, students will be able to meet with college admissions to find out about all that Dunwoody has to offer. Visit to local design firms and city tour included.

  • WHEN: July 31-Aug. 4, 2023
  • TIME: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Pathways to Careers (P2C)
Scholarship Program Summer Experience

Pathways To Careers LogoExplore in-demand technical career paths during this immersive, three-week summer experience aimed at preparing current high school juniors and seniors for college. Visit job sites, talk with industry partners, and complete hands-on projects in a variety of technical fields. Students interested in attending the P2C summer experience, must complete an application at dunwoody.edu/p2c.  Upon acceptance, recipients selected for the program who plan to attend Dunwoody after high school graduation, will be eligible for a scholarship of up to $10,000 a year for two years.

  • AGES: Students in grades 11 or 12 in fall 2023
  • WHEN: June 12 – 30, 2023

Past Camps

Power Girls

Hosted at Girl Scouts River Valleys, campers practiced hands-on construction and welding and perfected their DIY skills. Dunwoody women also helped campers build two Tiny Houses.

Interior Design Camp

Hosted by Dunwoody’s Interior Design department and RSP Architects, campers studied color, materials, architectural drawing, and digital media with professional designers. Campers also visited design firms and beautiful spaces throughout the Twin Cities.
