Born to Design: Virtual Interior Design Summer Camp
Immerse yourself in the world of interior design during a four-day, virtual summer camp this June. Born to Design introduces students to the interior design profession through project-based learning. Study color, materials, architectural drawing, and digital media while working with established, professional designers and instructors in an online format. Students will complete a design project that encompasses all phases of the design process.
AGES: Students entering grades 9-12 in Fall 2021
WHEN: June 14-17
TIME: Class sessions will run from 9-10 a.m. & 1-2 p.m. daily with open hours for individual meetings and project support in between
FORMAT: Online learning
COST: $175, Includes project supplies. Use of a laptop can be arranged upon request

Youth Career Awareness Program (YCAP) Summer Program
Explore in-demand technical career paths during this immersive, three-week summer program aimed at preparing high school juniors for college. Visit job sites, talk with industry partners, and complete hands-on projects in a variety of technical fields. Students interested in attending the summer program, must complete an application at dunwoody.edu/ycap. Recipients selected for the program will be eligible for a scholarship of up to $10,000 a year for two years if they are accepted to, and choose to attend Dunwoody after graduating from high school.

Power Girls
Hosted at Girl Scouts River Valleys, campers practiced hands-on construction and welding and perfected their DIY skills. Dunwoody women also helped campers build two Tiny Houses.









Interior Design camp
Hosted by Dunwoody’s Interior Design department and RSP Architects, campers studied color, materials, architectural drawing, and digital media with professional designers. Campers also visited design firms and beautiful spaces throughout the Twin Cities.






Arts-n-Crafts, Robots & Computing Camp
Hosted by Dunwoody’s Computer Technology department, campers learned the basics of computing through arts and crafts projects. Students built and programed robots with LEGO Mindstorms®, learned about Artbotics, and programed with Scratch and other tools.








Youth Career Awareness Program (YCAP) College Prep Summer Camp
YCAP Summer Campers explored career paths, took college-readiness courses, went on field trips, visited job sites, and interacted directly with industry partners. Several campers will be attending Dunwoody this fall.
