High School Engagement Scholarship

At Dunwoody, we believe the world needs more resourceful, highly-skilled problem solvers who are passionate about designing, building, making, and fixing things. Dunwoody’s High School Engagement Scholarship celebrates students who have been involved in industry-related programs, clubs, and organizations in high school.

These scholarships are awarded to Dunwoody students who have demonstrated a continuing interest in engineering, design, automotive, computers, and robotics and manufacturing through participation in related high school programs, clubs, and organizations.

Dunwoody recognizes the importance of fostering an interest in technology and design-related fields at an early age. The High School Engagement Scholarship was established in recognition of the College’s continuing efforts to encourage young men and women to pursue these types of careers.

Note: This scholarship is now closed for Fall 2025/Spring 2026. The application will open up again this Fall for students applying to Fall 2026.

A one-time scholarship of up to $2,000

Scholarship Qualifications

Here are the qualifications for when the application re-opens.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

Be a new, incoming high school student
Have been accepted into Dunwoody College of Technology, and have your program selection finalized, by May 1, 2026
Be enrolled as a full-time student
Complete your FAFSA for the 2026-2027 school year

Scholarship Application & Deadline

The deadline to apply for this scholarship for the 2025-2026 school year has passed. Check back in early Fall for applications for the 2026-2027 year.

Awarding Process

If selected as a recipient, you will receive up a one-time award in financial aid assistance of up to $2,000.

Note: Scholarship dollars are awarded to students until fund is depleted. The earlier you submit your application, the more likely you are to receive funding.
