Design Camp

Design Camp is an exciting pre-college program created to introduce high school students to the dynamic world of design. Participants will experience a week of hands-on projects led by Dunwoody faculty from the School of Design as they learn about the fields of architecture, interior design, and graphic design. Campers will explore the design process, interact with industry professionals, visit local design firms, and complete creative design projects.

A Two Day Summer Camp

This fun two-day summer camp will be an empowering opportunity for young people to explore hands-on building and discover career possibilities. Participants will learn how to turn ideas into reality with exciting projects that spark innovation and inspire them to shape the future and let their creativity shine.

  • AGES: High school students entering grades 9-12 in Fall 2025
  • WHEN: August 4-5, 2025
  • TIME: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Pathways to Careers (P2C)
Scholarship Program Summer Experience

Pathways To Careers LogoExplore in-demand technical career paths during this immersive, three-week summer experience aimed at preparing current high school juniors and seniors for college. Visit job sites, talk with industry partners, and complete hands-on projects in a variety of technical fields. Students interested in attending the P2C summer experience, must complete an application at dunwoody.edu/p2c.  Upon acceptance, recipients selected for the program who plan to attend Dunwoody after high school graduation, will be eligible for a scholarship of up to $10,000 a year for two years.

  • AGES: Students in grades 11 or 12 in fall 2025
  • WHEN: June 9-27, 2025

  • COST: FREE, but attendees must apply and be admitted into the program. Includes bus pass and lunch for the duration of the camp

Past Camps

Power Girls

Hosted at Girl Scouts River Valleys, campers practiced hands-on construction and welding and perfected their DIY skills. Dunwoody women also helped campers build two Tiny Houses.

Interior Design Camp

Hosted by Dunwoody’s Interior Design department and RSP Architects, campers studied color, materials, architectural drawing, and digital media with professional designers. Campers also visited design firms and beautiful spaces throughout the Twin Cities.
