Dunwoody’s online Facilities Management degree

Modern facilities are varied, complex, and high-tech, which means the commercial, industrial, real estate management, and public works sectors are all looking for professionals to manage the operations and maintenance of their properties.  

Dunwoody College’s Facilities Management program is a multidisciplinary bachelor’s completion degree that prepares students to manage the operations and maintenance of buildings, grounds, infrastructure, and real estate.  

This degree is specifically suited for students with a two-year degree in construction, electrical, HVAC, welding, or surveying/civil engineering.  

Your coursework will cover a variety of topics in areas such as construction management, HVAC, electrical, estimating, and business management. You’ll learn to develop and lead projects and manage teams all while making sure that tasks are carried out using best practices in quality, security, and safety.  

Through project-based learning, you’ll gain expertise in managing building usage, construction planning, scheduling, estimating, contracts, energy efficiency and usage, construction accounting and finance, and property development. And you’ll be using industry-standard software, including CAD/Revit, Bluebeam, and Procore. 

Upon graduation, you’ll be ready to pursue a career in nearly every industry, including healthcare, education, manufacturing, construction, IT, and government.
