Dunwoody Construction Project Management
Dunwoody’s Construction Project Management degree, which has been accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE), teaches you the technical skills necessary for a successful and rewarding career in the construction industry. Experience field trips and guest speakers from leading construction firms and building organizations. Participate in national competitions and take advantage of study abroad opportunities.
Through extensive interactive training and hands-on activities, you will learn best practices and industry standards for planning and executing complex construction projects. Develop the skills to create and manage schedules and monitor and report on the progress of build activity.
This is a two-year construction management degree that can be taken online on campus or hybrid.
Software you will use includes a suite of Autodesk products, Microsoft Project and Visio, Takeoff Suite, OnCenter QuickBid, Primavera Project Management Suite, Revu CAD Bluebeam, RSMeans CostWorks, and Sage Timberline Accounting and Estimating.
Dunwoody’s Construction Project Management program is structured as a two plus two associate’s and bachelor’s completion degree program. Students earn an associate’s degree in Construction Project Management after two years of coursework. Students who pursue an additional two years of study earn a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.
This structure also allows students from other technical and community colleges to seamlessly transfer into year three of Dunwoody’s program.
