Fabrication Lab
The Fabrication Lab is a place to get hands on experience with materials and tools for building three dimensional objects. Bring your designs to life as you work with wood, plastic, metal, cardboard and more.
Using the Dunwoody Fab Lab
To use the Fab Lab you must be introduced to the space in one of your classes. Priority use of the Fab Lab is for class projects.
For access to the laser cutters and CNC router you must complete a demonstration during class or by appointment.
The FabLab will operate on a first come first served basis. Make an appointment in advance to ensure time and access to specific tools.
Materials will be provided in your classes. If you need a specific material, it will be up to you to purchase. A Material Resource list is available in the FabLab.
The FabLab has three communal computers loaded with the software needed to run the equipment.
