A Partnership for Working Professionals

Dunwoody offering scholarships to students enrolled through NECA EARN

Dunwoody College of Technology, a private, non-profit institution and pioneer in technical education, today announces a new scholarship opportunity offered through the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Education Advancement Resource Network (EARN).

The College is one of nine institutions that NECA is partnering with to offer online courses, continuing education, and programs for individuals currently working in the electrical industry. These programs provide working professionals a flexible and convenient way to enhance their current skills or build new ones.

Three of Dunwoody’s bachelor completion programs, two associate of applied science programs, and two certificate programs are currently available through the NECA EARN partnership.

NECA EARN students who enroll and start in their program by this Fall 2022, will receive a $2,000 scholarship towards their tuition.

Business Management & Leadership | Bachelor of Science Completion Degree

Designed to give you a broad understanding of business management and leadership, courses focus on both technical and soft skills to make you a well-rounded professional.

Construction Management | Bachelor of Science Completion Degree        

Learn how to successfully influence and lead production teams, develop projects, and grow businesses. Collaborate with other departments, complete real, hands-on service learning projects, and work with renowned organizations and industry professionals.

Power & Construction Engineering Technology | Bachelor of Science Completion Degree

Learn the skills you need to design and manage large scale electrical projects, including utility and renewable energy systems.

Construction Project Management | Associate of Applied Science or Certificate    

Through extensive interactive training and hands-on activities, you will learn best practices and industry standards for planning and executing complex construction projects. Develop the skills to create and manage schedules and monitor and report on the progress of build activity.

Electrical Construction Design & Management | Associate of Applied Science

Dunwoody’s Electrical Construction Design & Management program provides you with the skills and knowledge necessary to create estimates, develop schedules, and effectively manage complex electrical construction projects from start to finish.

Electrical Drafting & Estimating | Certificate       

Designed for working professionals in the electrical field, the Electrical Drafting & Estimating Certificate provides industry training in electrical drafting and electrical estimating.

Individuals interested in one of the bachelor completion programs can take advantage of Dunwoody’s block transfer program that allows students who have completed an associate’s degree in a related program/field or an approved apprenticeship program to receive technical and general education transfer credits towards their bachelor completion degree.
