Dunwoody Celebrates Historic Success of For All Time Campaign

College raised $80 million in support of the future of technical education and student success in skilled trades

Dunwoody College of Technology today announced the successful completion of its most ambitious fundraising effort to date: the For All Time campaign. Five years after its launch, the campaign has exceeded its original $75 million goal, raising a total of $80 million in support of technical education, student success, and the future of the skilled trades.

With 2,114 generous donors and 10,313 individual gifts, the For All Time campaign has already made an impact on campus by expanding access to scholarships, enriching student life, launching innovative academic programs, strengthening resources for faculty, and reimagining the campus through renovations, new construction, and state-of-the-art technology.

“The generosity of our community means students will have the opportunity to pursue high-demand, high-paying careers in the technical fields and skilled trades,“ said Scott Stallman, President of Dunwoody College of Technology. “It is moments like these that shine a light on the significance of Dunwoody and its contributions to our state and region. My gratitude for this support will be reflected in our continued commitment to keep innovating and developing programs that serve our future students and industries.”

The For All Time campaign focused on three key priorities: scholarships, facilities, and programs. Funds directed towards the College’s scholarship programs are expanding access to technical education for under-resourced students, creating new pathways and opportunities for a wider net of individuals interested in careers in engineering, construction, manufacturing, automotive, computers, and design.

This campaign also marked the largest donation in Dunwoody history, thanks to Whitney and Elizabeth MacMillan, founders of the WEM Foundation. Their gift of $30 million demonstrates their commitment to technical education and has created a permanent source of funding that will have a lasting legacy for generations of Dunwoody students.

Campaign gifts also supported major campus improvements, including the renovation of Dunwoody’s historic façade. It also led to the addition of a cyber range to meet growing demand in cybersecurity and IT. Funding expanded academic offerings, supported faculty and staff, and improved student services. These investments have already led to stronger retention rates and a more vibrant campus life, with new programs like Esports helping to build community and enhance the student experience.
