The Dunwoody College Phoenix Challenge team took first place at this year’s competition. The team was charged with redesigning, printing and converting a custom line of hotel hygiene products. The team put sustainability at the forefront of their work making the brand and packaging environmentally friendly, economically sounds and graphically appealing.
Dunwoody College also won two Silver Excellence awards, one for the printing of the Oh lay! Premium Orange Juice label and one for design for the Minnesota Vodka label. Each college had a booth at the convention where they could advertise their college and their programs. The schools were also judged on their booth design and its effectiveness. Dunwoody also took second place in the booth competition.
Shawn Oetjen and Kent Esby were also recognized at the Excellence in Flexography Education Achievement Awards for their outstanding contributions and dedication to the printing industry.
