MB Campus becomes sixth manufacturer-specific program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dunwoody College of Technology<\/a> has added another manufacturer-specific training option for students enrolled in the Automotive Service Technology<\/a> program. The Mercedes-Benz (MB) Campus<\/a> is an online, add-on credential for students interested in working at a Mercedes-Benz facility.<\/p>\n\n\n

Sponsored by Sears Imports, the program is provided at no extra cost to students enrolled in the Automotive Service Technology program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDunwoody is one of the only automotive programs in the State to provide these add-on credentials as part of its curriculum options, providing added value to students who want to work on specific manufacturer vehicles,\u201d said Robert Larkin, Director of Automotive Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The addition of MB Campus means the College now has four add-on credential options \u2013 Audi Education Partnership<\/a>, MoparCAP Local<\/a>, MB Campus<\/a>, and Subaru Knowledge, Information & Learning<\/a> \u2013 along with two associate\u2019s degree options \u2013 Honda Professional Automotive Career Training<\/a> and Toyota\u2019s Technician Training & Education Network<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n

During the program, students will study Mercedes information systems and various maintenance procedures. They will also gain knowledge of engine, transmission, chassis\/brake, electronic, and basic electricity fundamentals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students complete Mercedes online training as an elective, and their progress is monitored by the Dunwoody MB Campus coordinator. Training credentials come directly from Mercedes, preparing students for employment at any Mercedes dealership nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
