The money will be used to support scholarships for students pursuing a degree in a Robotics &amp; Manufacturing program or Mechanical Engineering at Dunwoody. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are so grateful for the continued support of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ghaasfoundation.org\/\">Gene Haas Foundation<\/a>,\u201d said Engineering Design &amp; Machining Director Alex Wong. \u201cDuring the past three years they have not only continued to fund scholarships, but they have also invested in our labs, establishing the Gene Haas Center for Manufacturing Excellence at the College \u2013 a premier, hands-on leaning space for our students.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The enhanced lab space includes more than 10 state-of-the industry CNC mills, a Haas ST-10 Lathe, a Sodick Wire EDM, a Charmilles Sinker EDM, an Injection Mold Press, and two Haas VF2 CNC Machining Center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information about manufacturing programs at\nDunwoody, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/dunwoody.edu\/manufacturing\/\">dunwoody.edu\/manufacturing<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gene Haas Foundation awards Dunwoody $30,000 More students will be able to pursue a great career in high-tech, precision manufacturing and engineering at Dunwoody College of Technology thanks to the Gene Hass Foundation.
