Dunwoody College of Technology invites nominations and applications for the position of Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.  This cabinet-level, leadership position reports to the President and works collaboratively to shape the future direction of academic programs, instructional strategies, and student experience at the College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 1914 and located in Minneapolis, Dunwoody College\nof Technology offers a unique small-campus experience as the only private,\nnot-for-profit technical college in the Upper Midwest. Having provided\nhands-on, applied technical education to more than 250,000 men and women,\nDunwoody is the college for experimenters and makers, a place where the curious\nand the confident learn by doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the past six years, enrollment at the College has\ngrown by more than 26 percent to 1,358 students. Strategic growth initiatives\nhave included: attracting and retaining more students from diverse backgrounds,\nincluding women, students of color, and veterans; providing more bachelor\ncompletion options, including a Bachelor of Architecture; and adding a School\nof Engineering with four-year degrees in Mechanical, Software, and Electrical\nengineering. Dunwoody offers certificates, associate\u2019s, and bachelor\u2019s degrees\nin more than 45 STEM related majors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dunwoody is seeking a creative, future-focused, high-energy\neducational leader to join the College\u2019s senior leadership team and work\ncollaboratively with the College community toward the goals of Dunwoody\u2019s\nVision 2025 Strategic Plan. The new Vice President will hold an advanced\ndegree, preferably a terminal degree, in an academic discipline offered by, or\nrelated to, the College\u2019s academic program. This individual will have\nexperience teaching and leading in a technical\/applied learning setting, and a\nknowledge of student support services and activities. The successful candidate\nwill be expected to demonstrate a track record of career achievement and\ncontribution that has fully prepared them for the VPASA position. In addition,\nthe successful candidate will evidence some combination of the following\nexperience and attributes: a commitment to Dunwoody\u2019s mission and future; a\nproven educational leader; an effective planner and strategist; one who is\nfocused on student success; an astute financial planner and manager; and an\nexceptional communicator and collaborator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
