A portrait of Dunwoody founder William H. Dunwoody is on loan to the Minnesota Historical Society through September in an exhibit at the James J. Hill house in Saint Paul.<\/p>\n

Works by the famed Minnesota landscape and portrait artist Nicholas Brewer will be on display. Of that collection, it is said that his portrait of Mr. Dunwoody is his, \u201cmost handsome work,\u201d said Julie L\u2019Enfant, author of Nicholas R. Brewer: His Art and Family. L\u2019Enfant\u2019s book on Brewer inspired the exhibit.<\/p>\n

That exhibition, entitled \u201cEternal Beauty: Paintings by Nicholas Brewer\u201d, will feature highlights from his career with more than 30 paintings collected from the Minnesota Historical Society as well as several private collections.<\/p>\n
