In this episode, Reinarts discussed his background in the world of automotive, while also weighing in on what needs to be done to address the skills gap.<\/p>\n<p>A seasoned professional, Reinarts notices the need for the youth to get involved in the industry as early as they can. \u201cI can\u2019t stress enough the need for the industry to help students learn and get in on the high school level,\u201d Reinarts said.<\/p>\n<p>Reinarts spoke in favor of getting students as much training as possible. He stated that he always enjoyed working with younger generations, which is something that led him to join the faculty at Dunwoody.<\/p>\n<p>With one of the most sophisticated automotive educational labs in the country, Dunwoody Automotive programs provide training in two main areas: automotive service and collision repair and refinishing. Spending about 70 percent of class time in lab, students in the program work on current automobiles with the same equipment and software they will find out in industry.<\/p>\n<p>Instructors are certified ASE technicians and work directly with industry partners like Audi, Honda, Mopar, Subaru, and Toyota to ensure curriculum is cutting edge.<\/p>\n<p>Explore what we have to offer <a href=\"https:\/\/dunwoody.edu\/automotive\/\">here<\/a>.
