Mequon, Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

Where did you attend college?\u00a0What is your degree in?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h6>\n

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I was an Accounting major.<\/p>\n

How long have you been working at Dunwoody?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Three years.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite part about working at Dunwoody?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Most of my working years have been at manufacturing companies, seeing raw materials get transformed into all kinds of useful things.\u00a0I like the smell of cutting oil and seeing machines at work.\u00a0I was attracted to Dunwoody by the manufacturing environment combined with the education-focused mission.<\/p>\n

What do you enjoy most about your job?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h6>\n

There are a lot of opportunities here, and it\u2019s rewarding to make positive contributions.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite memory at Dunwoody?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h6>\n

The time Charla Hudlow, Senior Financial Aid Counselor, showed me how she celebrates Friday with a \u201chappy dance.\u201d<\/p>\n

What are a few of your hobbies?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h6>\n

Outdoor activities, hiking, house projects (if you call that a hobby), and working on my old Ford Fairlane.<\/p>\n

What skill would you like to master?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h6>\n

I will never master it, but I would like to take piano lessons again.<\/p>\n

What books or TV shows are you enjoying right now?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h6>\n

I enjoy the TV show \u201cMom,\u201d and Keith Richards\u2019 book \u201cLife\u201d is a fascinating story.<\/p>\n

What three things could you not live without?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h6>\n

My morning paper, a cup of coffee, and a good night\u2019s sleep.<\/p>\n

What is something you will never do again?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Drive a school bus on icy roads, especially if there are middle-school kids on it!<\/p>\n

Please provide 2-3 fun facts about yourself.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h6>\n

  1. My two sons became interested in unicycling when they were young.\u00a0They worked very hard to become good riders and competed nationally and internationally.\u00a0(Yes, there are unicycle competitions which involve racing, artistic riding, and trials skills.)<\/li>\n
  2. I learned to ride as well and did some off-road mountain unicycling with our boys and friends in the local club.<\/li>\n
  3. I know it\u2019s not a \u201csmart\u201d way to buy music, but I still purchase albums on vinyl.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
