Congratulations to Design &amp; Graphics Technology Students: Stephanie Burdorf, Charlotte LaCour, Dan Mueller, Finn Pearson, Noah Rabinowitz and Jenna Weiler, winners of the annual International Corrugated Packaging Foundation\u2019s (ICPF) \u201cBest of the Best\u201d Student Design Competition!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1098\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1098\" style=\"width: 374px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-1098\" src=\"http:\/\/dunwoody.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/IMG_5713-small-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5713- small\" width=\"374\" height=\"210\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dunwoody.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/IMG_5713-small-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dunwoody.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/IMG_5713-small.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 374px) 100vw, 374px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1098\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Featured left to right: Noah Rabinowitz, Jenna Weiler, Charlotte LaCour, Dan Mueller, Finn Pearson and Stephanie Burdorf.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The 2015 \u201cBest of the Best\u201d Competition was held Thursday, Feb. 19 via a live teleconference during the Design &amp; Graphics Technology 2015 Internship Showcase.<\/p>\n<p>Competing against Dunwoody was 2014 AICC Structural Design Competition runner-ups California Polytechnic State University and Millersville University, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of the 2014 AICC competition&#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/dunwoody.edu\/news\/2014\/dunwoody-students-sweep-national-packaging-design-competition\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">won by Burdorf, LaCour, Mueller, Pearson, Rabinowitz and Weiler last summer<\/span><\/a>&#8212; was to create real-world marketing materials to assist with their college\u2019s student recruitment and retention efforts. The final project was to be tailored to each team\u2019s corresponding schools and stay within the branding guidelines of that institution. This required students to work with the college\u2019s admissions <em>and <\/em>marketing departments to ensure the end result was something their college could realistically use.<\/p>\n<p>The Dunwoody team\u2019s project, titled \u201cRecruiting Standee,\u201d was comprised of a student recruitment mailing envelope\/folder, a 3-D floor display to be used during college events and a \u201cfirst day\u201d experience box to be given to new students. The box, purposefully designed to fit inside each new student\u2019s locker, included room for a Dunwoody T-shirt, pens, pencils and a USB flash drive.
