Jason McConnell on Engineering Challenges in Engine Air Filtration
Engineering in Action, a speaker series focused on engineers sharing their professional experiences, returns this year with a presentation by Jason McConnell, engineering manager at Donaldson Company.
McConnell served as an HVAC technician in the Air National Guard while attending the University of Minnesota, where he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering. He joined Donaldson as an engineer and is now responsible for developing air intake systems in off-road engines, including vehicles for agriculture, construction, mining, and recreation. He is also in an MBA program at the Carlson School of Business.
Donaldson is a Bloomington-based global filtration company that manufacturers filters for engine and industrial markets with more than $2.7 billion in annual revenue.
