Throughout the program, you will develop the critical thinking, troubleshooting, and analytical skills necessary to help companies build and maintain computer systems, design and implement network systems, create software, and make recommendations on more efficient and effective IT operations.
Industry-expert staff will help you gain expertise in the management of information systems and computer security. And through hands-on projects, you will use simulation modeling to create, analyze, and evaluate realistic models of real-world environments in order to identify potential issues and risks. Curriculum is career-oriented, which helps you learn industry trends and practices before graduation.
During your final semester, you will complete an industry-specific capstone project, providing you with an opportunity to build your résumé and portfolio.
Students are able to use their interests and backgrounds to help pick their choice of electives in networking, software, or data architecture.
